Think Summer
Think Summer believes learning and development isn’t a static process. It’s dynamic and happens year-round, not just during the school year. That’s why Albuquerque-area families have trusted Albuquerque Academy’s Think Summer program to provide their students with exhilarating enrichment and recreational options for their children entering kindergarten through 12th grade since 1984, keeping their minds sharp and their bodies active.
Enrolling your child in Think Summer ensures that academic and developmental concepts learned during the school year are solidified, and gives your child a head start in concepts they may learn in the grade they are entering. We celebrate active-learning strategies through project- and inquiry-based activities, interdisciplinary courses, and enriched recreational programs.
Think Summer class and camp offerings, along with prices and full class/camp descriptions, are available to view in the 2024 Think Summer Catalog.
With Think Summer’s extraordinary teachers and exceptional staff considering your child’s individual needs and learning style, we ensure that all children are engaged, challenged, and encouraged to become the best possible versions of themselves. At Think Summer, we know how children learn best, and how to make education exceptional, inspirational, and seriously fun!

Think Summer’s remarkable, one-of-a-kind registration experience is flexible and allows camp/class options for every type of schedule. Whether your child would like to enjoy a full day, a half day, or just one or two classes, there are many fun and enriching options for your family to explore. Families may choose as few or as many classes or camps to complete a seven-period day schedule, and may also add extended care as needed.
Pre-grade K-3 students are supervised at all times, being transitioned to each class/camp, including lunch and extended care options.
All Think Summer programs assemble Monday-Friday, regardless of a single class or full-day student registration. Think Summer observes Juneteenth and Independence Day and will communicate the dates to families that the program will be closed.
